The
company
The Founder and Managing Director of Sebongi Construction, Ms. M.S Sebone is a Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager by profession. She has previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor in large and complex projects in the Mining & Energy sectors of the construction industry within and outside the borders of South Africa.
As an entrepreneur, Ms. Sebone has managed to sustain Sebongi Construction through successful execution of projects, good relationships with suppliers, excellent stakeholder management and engagements practices, and through fair labour practices.
Her determination, strategy and hard work has led to:
- Successful management and completion of all past Sebongi Construction projects.
- Successful completion of the Anglo Zimele enterprise development.
- Partnering with an international company on the construction of a 210m high concrete tower on the Redstone Solar Project.
- Being profiled in the “Mail & Guardian 2023 – 200 Young South Africans” as a promising young business leader in the construction industry.
- Being invited to speak at the Youth Entrepreneurship Round Table Discussion: Ambrosetti's 10th Southern Africa Europe CEO Dialogue.

the
Director
Managing Director – Miss MS Sebone
Our Managing Director Miss Sebone possesses the following Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Building Science from The University of Johannesburg Bachelor of Technology Degree in Quantity Surveying from The University of Johannesburg
- Post-graduate Diploma in Project Management from MANCOSA
- She is currently studying toward a Master of Business Administration qualification with MANCOSA
Ms Sebone has extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor and as a Project Manager within the construction industry. She is well knowledgeable on the legislations governing the industry, the various stakeholders, the various project risks, project management and the many challenges faced throughout the Planning; Design; Execution and Closing stages of construction projects. She has worked as a Quantity Surveyor in multi-million Rand projects in the Mining and the Energy sector in South Africa and the DR Congo.
As an entrepreneur, our Director has successfully executed various construction projects in the Mining and Solar Power sectors as a Project Manager and Contracts Manager, leading a team of over 100 employees one of her projects.
